This is an old Thistle that reportedly raced in the 1960 Olympics under the name of Fat Albert. I’ve owned the boat for over 30 years and it’s just too difficult physically for me to sail her anymore. She needs a little love from someone that wants to sail a fast boat.

North Sails top cover. Can be used with boom in the gooseneck for parking lot storage or for travelling. Still has lots of life left, my boat is stored inside so any sun exposure is just from regattas and travel. Happy to work with you to arrange shipping or transportation to a regatta this summer. I am helping out an older friend whos husbard recently passed. He has a thistle wooden boat #198 (says that on the sails) that she wants to sell. I looked for a hull number plaque or number and cant find one. I know nothing about boats, but know this is an original garage kept one - in garage for 50+ yrs. The wife says it used to be raced at the Canandaigua yacht club. I had a friend who is knowledgeable about boats look it over and he said it has everything that came with the boat - mast, boom,...
