Looking to sell my wooden thistle, we purchased from upstate NY a few years ago and have not had the time to sail as much as expected (more kiting, less sailing). Overall the boat is in fair – good condition and while I have not weighed it, it has seemed to be fairly fast when I’ve raced in the local fleet here. Boat comes with everything including: mast, boom, all standing and running rigging, rudder + tiller/extension, jib, main, spinnaker, spinnaker pole, set of extra practice/old sails, top cover, and trailer. Also have a bin full of some misc parts and extra blocks, etc. that you’re free to take with the boat if you like. The boat is ready to sail with a few minor issues which I have detailed below:

1. The square boom has a repair (welded plate) which is well done and structurally overkill but is worth noting. It was like this since I purchased the boat and I did not see the need to replace.
2. Could use some varnishing on the rails – peeling in a few spots.
3. Rudder was recently replaced and new Ronstan hardware (major upgrade) was fitted. Top of the rudder head was glassed to accept the tiller and one more layer of glass would not hurt.

This really is a great boat at a great price and with a little love from the new owner would be a fantastic addition to a local fleet. Price is negotiable for someone that is interested in picking the boat up within the next month or so as I would really like to have the garage space opened up for the summer.
