On 12-20-2020 eight members of Thistle Fleet 155 met on a cold afternoon to baptize Alex Venegas’ first hull #4052.  The hull cannot be called a Thistle until the measurement committee completes it’s evaluations and the authorities certify the boat as a Thistle.

In the mean time, I want to share a photo documentary of the first sail and an aerial video assembled by Oliver Doyle who is the son of Jon Doyle.

I want to Thank fleet members Sara Paisner, Harry Menlovitz, Howard Menlovitz, John Norton, Jon Doyle, Oliver Doyle, and Alex Venegas for making the baptism a success.  Everyone loved the look of the boat and enjoyed sailing the latest creation.
